Spanish (MFL)

Overview

Our Spanish curriculum introduces children to a new language and culture in an engaging, accessible way. Pupils develop early language skills while gaining an appreciation of global diversity and communication.

How we teach

Spanish is taught by a specialist teacher in Key Stage 2. Lessons focus on speaking and listening through songs, games, repetition and simple conversations. Children learn key vocabulary, basic characters and pronunciation, while also exploring aspects of Spanish culture.
