Our computing curriculum equips children with the digital skills they need for the modern world. Pupils learn computer science, digital literacy and online safety through creative, practical and age-appropriate activities.
In computing children learn coding, data handling, multimedia work and digital creativity. Children learn programming concepts using tools such as Scratch and code-based activities, while online safety is woven throughout. They also explore how technology works and how to use devices responsibly.
By the end of Year 6, pupils can write and debug code, use digital tools confidently, handle data and apply logical reasoning. They understand online risks and show responsible, respectful online behaviour with growing independence.
Explore coding tools such as Scratch or Code.org together. Talk openly about online safety and encourage balanced, purposeful technology use. Support digital creativity through drawing apps, music tools or video projects.
